I can absolutely understand not wanting to have to cut off the entire tube, but there just isn't an option for a tube with a coupler that goes over your 4" diameter tube. The reason for that is the inner tubing - the part with the coupler - on standard goosenecks now are 4" diameter so they wouldn't be able to go over the tube.

If your Ram has the in-bed OEM goosneck hitch, there isn't an offset ball like # BWGNXA4085 available. The OEM hitch uses a ball with a round shank. If an offset ball were used, you could have two pivot points between the truck and the trailer, the point where the ball meets the coupler and the point where the ball meets the hitch. This would lead to an unsafe situation.

I have a solution for you, but the Gen-Y Spartan # 325-GH-7002 only has a capacity of 25000-lbs, so you're really going to be pushing it if your trailer is ever close to the GVWR. I have a solution for you, but there is not a set of coupler locks for a gooseneck trailer and traditional coupler that can be keyed the same. However, there are some options that can be keyed alike within their application so if you needed more traditional coupler locks in the future those could be keyed like the first one.

The traditional gooseneck coupler locks like the # BLTL-53-40D2 will not work on this adapter. We do have a few solutions though that will help with theft reduction though.
First you can loosen the set screw that holds the inner coupler tube in, remove the coupler, and then store it in a locked vehicle or other location.
